Having demonstrated the ability to quickly learn process and culture to impart knowledge to staff and colleagues, promptly developing solutions in-line with team and department goals to achieve results, Judah is as comfortable joining a project in transition or from its inception and interact well with diverse constituencies which gains immediate attention and respect of stakeholders across organizations.
As a marketing specialist, Judah Flum believes in applying an integrated strategy to provide business solutions. He offers a social networking strategy package, including training and website development, and his expertise in marketing, business process, project and program management for transitional management or special projects.
Bringing over 12 years experience with consumer marketing, associations and a financial institution, Judah has learned process and culture quickly at each step in his career. He is very creative and interacts well with diverse constituencies. Forecasting and ability to anticipate change is a key element of his performance and he has often been the lead for testing efforts. He has been lauded for bringing a calm approach to difficult environments and challenging situations. He does not settle on the status quo, often going outside the box to seek alternatives and takes the opportunity to stretch his abilities.
Early in his career working for non-profits, Judah took over the management of the membership activities at two different associations. The standard promotional elements were in place, but he was able to create a consistent theme and integrate efforts which have remained part of the culture.
One of his trademarks is that Judah has had discerning episodes where he’s been able to save his organization money and/or reputation. He independently undertook a test in a direct mail campaign which uncovered a flaw in one of the products and helped head off potential loss in revenue and embarrassment for the company.
Recently as he had occasion to learn government contracting, Judah was faced with managing a team of contractors also new to the business. He quickly learned culture and procedures and was able to transition that learning in the form of coaching, training and process to the contract team.
Judah is currently providing website development and social networking strategy for small businesses. He is the financial secretary for a local synagogue and is looking forward to working with local businesses in the Washington, D.C. area.
